AMPS provides accurate, state-of-the-art submeter equipment. Additionally, providing consulting, system design & layout, start-up & commissioning, meter testing, and reading and billing services. Whether it be electric, water, gas, BTU, or a combination thereof.

Meter Reading: Automatic Meter Reading, or “AMR” technology is utilized to monitor utility use and is the best method to quickly and accurately collect meter data. AMR equipment allows remote (modem & telephone line) access of meters. It saves time, increases efficiency, and eliminates sending a meter reader to locally record (manually read & write down) meter information, which can be costly and is subject to human error.

Billing: Our Reading & Billing (R&B) staff along with our proprietary R&B software provides accurate billing calculations. We offer detailed management reports and tenant bills based on the individual needs of each customer. For industrial users we provide load analysis and/or look at other electrical parameters as specified by the client. These services extend to electric, water, gas, BTU, etc., as applicable.

Utility Rate Analysis: We analyze utility bills to ensure accuracy or to check to see if another rate schedule would better suit the customer’s needs and reduce monthly costs.

Meter Testing & Calibration Services: We install temporary meters to check the accuracy of utility meters or existing submeters that are in question. Additionally, authorized by the State of California to test and calibrate meters by the Department of Weights & Measures, License No. 1733, with documenting Certified Reports available.
